RUBBERMAID COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS—NEWELL BRANDS


As Rubbermaid Commercial Products, a division of Newell Brands, launched a new line of trash cans aimed at the interior design market, they needed to connect with and build a relationship with designers. RCP turned to Innovatude to design a trade show environment for NeoCon 2016 that would inspire designers to come in, engage with the product and think of trash cans as part of their designs. We completed the entire design process in one week—including promotional items distributed at the event.

In 2017 the focus shifted to highlighting the unique attributes of each product, so rather than having the products blend in, we used paper sculpture to lead a viewer's eye to the product and up the level of design. Take a look at the story of each NeoCon space in the gallery below.

McGrory Glass, a family-owned business with a 30-year history of delivering high quality glass products for commercial environments, needed to refresh their brand to continue its strong growth trajectory. The refreshed McGrory Glass logo, which retains the blue mark for continuity but updates the typeface to reflect a more modern, sophisticated company.

Innovatude worked as Jaipur Rugs' interim marketing director for the first half of 2015, including preparing for five tradeshows/markets, collaborating with licensees on new collections launches, and serving as managing editor for the Spring 2015 catalog. In this role, we oversaw the creative direction and design of the 624-page book, cowrote the editorial at the front of the magazine, and coordinated with the printer. As one customer wrote, "I just finished reading, yes reading, the new Jaipur catalog. It is the best catalog I have ever seen. The photos and copy that accompany the design descriptions are captivating. Jaipur chose their writer well! The Beacon Atlanta


Shortly after news of The Beacon Atlanta was picked up by the Atlanta Business Chronicle and local bloggers, an inaccurate view of the story began to circulate.
